GPU Driver Updates for Android Coming Soon

Google today announced new tools for game developers. The Android GPU Inspector, Android Performance Tuner, Google Play Asset Delivery, and others.

Android GPU Inspector is something that we can expand on. This specific application allows developers to see the GPU usage during a game. With this information, developers and engineers can use the data from the app to optimize their game for better performance.

Qualcomm had worked with Google on the Inspector. In using the tool, the developer can send their suggestions for improvements in the graphic driver to the chipmaker.

The update drivers is planned to be released thru Playstore and will be seen first on these Snapdragon 855-powered devices: Pixel 4, Samsung Galaxy S10, and Note 10.
